Shook Residence

The Shook residence was a large estate that was commissioned to TRGD to be designed shortly after the home was built. The Virginian estate, designed by James Carter, was a dream-come-true for the home-owner who, since attending the University of Virginia, had always wanted a colonial style home. This four-acre estate now boasts a formal boxwood garden, a golf putting and chipping green, two separate cut-flower gardens and a vegetable garden visible from the pool terrace overlooking the grounds.
