Pizitz Residence

The Pizitz residence was a garden designer's dream. The homeowner's wife is a garden-lover who especially loves flowers. So the first thing TRGD created was an English flower border garden located to the side of the estate. This garden could be seen best from the kitchen and dining rooms of the home. Turf was surrounded with many different types of perennial flowers and above the stone retaining wall were planted a mass of carpet roses. The back of the property has a breath-taking view of the city of Birmingham, that would rival any along the top of Red Mountain. The patio was extended to make more room for entertaining and a contemporary fountain was installed to create a visual boundry and focal point for the space with respect to it's spectacular view.
